How the US military will take over America
The US military is composed of a group that represents the most conservative right-wing segment of America. They are the single most powerful organization in the country. They are now at WAR with every country on earth fighting terrorism.
The basic characteristics of the US military:
1. Most enlisted personal come from rural and southern (RED) states
2. Over 90% of the officers identify themselves as conservative Republicans
3. Most enlisted men have a high school education or less – most didn’t finish in the top one-third of their class – these are not the brightest bunch
4. Most vote Republican and support right-wing politics
5. Few if any in the military can tell you what is in the Bill of Rights – other than their right to own guns
6. The military has become radicalized by continued tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and feel the government isn’t supporting them
7. They are trained to do what they are told without question
8. The military is a dictatorship not a democracy
9. The top brass including the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) have a contempt and dislike for Obama – see General McChrystal
Okay this is not enough for the military to try a coup d’etat. In fact they could never take over America by force. They won’t have to do this – Obama will hand over the country voluntarily.
Obama will declare Marshall Law and hand power to the military.
All the important factors have to be perfect for a state of Marshall Law to be declared and they are now in place in America.
1. The US Supreme Court is in the hands of right-wing nut-jobs. Roberts, Scalia, Alito, Thomas, Kennedy (right-wing Catholics)
2. The US congress will have just elected dozens of Tea Party and right-wing Republicans
3. The US military is distraught and angry about the Obama pull out in both Iraq and Afghanistan and his refusal to bomb Iran
4. The right-wing media has a campaign against Obama and still claims he is a Muslim and possibly supports the terrorist
5. Over 50% of right-wing Republicans believe Obama is a Moslem
6. The name calling campaign against Obama by the Tea Party has radicalized a large part of the US population
7. Any attack inside the US will undermine Obama – Sara, Glen, Rush and the Republicans will claim he knew about the attack and didn’t stop it
In the past there was a bright line for conduct defined in the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). This was thrown out by the Bush/Chaney gang with secret prisons, torture and murder all done by a combination of military, CIA and private mercenaries.
The US public today supports doing anything to avoid another attack like 911. In fact many studies show the MAJORITY of Americans now support torture of prisoners.
The influence of the military has increased each year because of the following:
1. More foreign military bases – over 1,000 and growing
2. More money for the military over $1 trillion in 2010
3. More wars, Iraq and Afghanistan
4. US planned war against Iran
5. Secret wars in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, Kenya, etc
6. Expanded power to kill with US military assassination teams operating around the world – this is NEW (Bush and Obama)
7. Military commanders now tell the President what to do (Clinton, Bush and Obama) and they do it – 40,000 troops for Afghanistan were demanded by the military and Obama obeyed
8. For profit companies hold power inside government and are pushing for more wars to increase their profits
Add to this the Republicans demanding more war as a proof of manhood, while most never served and many avoided service at all costs.
So now we can see the path to military dictatorship. The scenario goes like this.
1. The US is bombed by terrorists (or the CIA acting like terrorists) – another 911 like attack – over 5,000 Americans die
2. Panic is spread by right-wing media that terrorists are inside the US planning another attack – Obama is blamed
3. The Joint Chiefs (JCS) demand Marshall Law to protect America supported by the Republicans
4. The Bill of Rights is suspended, approved by our right-wing US Supreme Court
5. Our weak President does what he is told by the JCS – the military dictators – Obama declares Marshal Law
6. Anyone that objects is arrested and put in jail with no right to an attorney or due process
7. The National Guard is called up and patrol the streets and shoot anyone who is out after curfew
8. Congress is sent home and the JCS now governs America
9. Universities and colleges where demonstrations take place are closed by order of the JCS and troops occupy these schools
The Tea Party and Republicans celebrate and demand the Bill of Rights be removed from the US Constitution. The JCS order this to be done under Marshall Law and they demand the US Supreme Court so order – they agree.
The new JCS Marshall Law includes:
1. Internment camps for all suspected US Moslems and their supporters – like we did to the Japanese in WW2
2. Tens of thousands of innocent US Moslems, and thousands of protesters are sent to these camps – run by private for profit companies including Halliburton – no one has the right to an attorney
3. All civil law continues for non-military purposes
4. Key Liberal elected Democrats and many liberal professors are arrested and taken to secret prisons as supporters of terrorism
5. No freedom of speech is allowed in NEWS broadcasts and Rush Limbaugh is made Secretary of US Communication (funny?) – his propaganda is on every station – all other news and other programming stays the same keeping the public happy, football, sitcoms, porn are all available so for 90% of Americans nothing has changed
6. Google, Microsoft and Yahoo agree to support the PATRIOTIC war on terrorism by filtering all internet content – no one can question the Marshall Law – porn, video games, movies and music are allowed- this keeps most Americans happy
7. Television NEWS stays the same, but no mention of Marshall Law is allowed, military up-dates are run 7by24 announcing even bigger threats from terrorist inside America – but all the other shows are allowed keeping the public happy
8. Glenn Beck, Sara Palin and the Tea Party do a US tour demanding everyone support our BRAVE military in their fight against the evil terrorists and denouncing anyone who questions military rule
9. Republicans celebrate and are put into key positions by the JCS
JCS announce they will step aside as soon as all the terrorists are found, but they are never found because they don’t exist. Fear, hate and self interest win out over democracy and freedom.
All Americans support this SHORT TERM measure and trust the military to hand back power once the threat is contained.
We have seen the USA swing to the far right over my lifetime and all it will take for the far right to take over is another attack on America.
Some have said this is already in the planning stage by right-wing factions in the CIA and US military. Some have said the CIA along with key US generals have this planned and they may blow-up something, blame it on terrorists and Obama to get this started.
Are MOST Americans really for freedom and democracy? Not really.
The Official US government policy is to support Communist China, Saudi Arabia and over 40 other dictators because it helps our profit based companies. Our commitment to freedom and democracy is weak or non-existent.
Only about 50% of Americans vote and follows anything having to do with government. The rest don’t care.
Just give most Americans their TV, porn, internet based games, fast food, video games, music, sitcoms and the NFL and they are happy.
Will this happen? Could it happen? I give it just a 10% probability. What do you think?

The figures I quoted are the facts, nothing you listed changes the fact most are from rural conservative areas and most officers are right-wing Republicans committed to doing what they are told.
You can now join the Army at age 42 and without a high school diploma and with a criminal record. We also take non-citizens.
I know young men who joined because they couldn’t get a job and needed to eat and have a place to sleep.
Less than 2% of all Americans will serve making the military very non-representative of America. There is something called the military mind and it isn’t very independent.
You say you no longer have to obey orders unless you are in a combat zone. That you can disagree with NCOICs and officers and have freedom to choose what orders you will obey. That is certainly different than the US Army I served in and the Navy my brother served in and the Marines my father served in. It is also not the Army my neighbor just got out of after serving both stateside and in Iraq.

You clearly know absolutely nothing about the military. Where is your proof backing up your military statistics -- most enlisted from rural, southern (RED) states, 90% of officers republican, most enlisted - high school education or less. I don't know what military you're talking about, but it's not the one that I serve in.
In today's day & age, the enlisted force is more diverse than ever, and more educated than ever. The military is less and less of a dictatorship than it ever was. When I entered, it was yes, sir/ma'am! no, sir/ma'am! thank you, sir/ma'am! Today's new recruits demand more understanding of what, why, and when. They're intelligent, a bit too independent (from a military perspective), and bring a whole new set of skills and ideas to the military -- dictatorship... riiight.
I don't doubt that most military can't quote the entire bill of rights, then I doubt most Americans can, period. I never hear any members discussing their right to bear arms -- this is an "old wive's tale," and patently untrue. All military understand that we, Americans, possess many rights that are not enjoyed by citizens of other countries.
Today's young military members question everything. Everything you tell them, every task they're assigned to do, sometimes annoyingly when you just want them to do what they're told and be quiet. But that's how the current generation is. YES, in combat they must do what they're told, immediately, with no hesitation. If they don't, people die. It's just that simple.
Here's some enlisted (USAF) demographics for you:
* 99.9% with a high school education
* 3.9% with a high school diploma/GED/Cert
* 70.1% with some college
* 19.3% have an associate's degree or equivalent
* 5.7% with a bachelors degree
* 1% have a master's degree
* .01% have a professional or doctorate degree
