One RICH MAN feels a little GUILTY

Warren Buffettwants the US Congress to raise his taxes and the taxes on his rich friends. Let’s do the math. He is just one rich man out of over 5 million obscenely rich people in the USA. Bill Gates, the heirs to the Wal-Mart fortune with a net worth of over $90 billion and others, are hiding out and keeping their heads down, hoping their ass wipes friends, the Republicans just say no.

Warren says he made about $35 million and paid about $6 million in income taxes. His tax rate was just 17.4% while his secretary and all those working in his office paid a higher tax rate. I guess his secretary paid 34%.

Mitch McConnell, John Boehner and the other Republicans said, “They want to cut Buffett’s tax rate further.” “The poor guy pays far too much in taxes,” said Congressmen Paul Ryan. Ryan continued, “Once we get rid of Medicare and Social Security, we can cut all taxes on the rich and corporations.”

There are about 5 million rich people in the US and just one has asked that taxes be increased. Warren wants the taxes increased ONLY for people making more than one million per year. It is reasonable to say one out of 5 million will not get it done. All the other rich people want more tax cuts. The Republicans refuse to increase any taxes.

Taxes on the rich are now at an all time low with the top 1% paying just a 22% tax rate. The IRS says the top 1% made on average $8.4 million and paid just $1.6 million in taxes.

The top 1% now gets 24% of all US income each year, up from just 10% 20 years ago. The bottom 50% of all Americans gets just 17% of all income. This gap is destroying America. This growing gap is causes by the low tax rates for the richest Americans.

Some facts about God’s USA:

1. 19 million American children live in poverty

2. 10 million American children have no healthcare

3. 40 million hard working Americans have no healthcare

4. The US spends 50% of all personal income taxes on war and occupation, with over 1,000 foreign military bases

5. The USA is the only western democracy out of 36, without universal healthcare

6. 80% of all Americans claim to be Christians

Jesus Christ said:

1. Love your neighbor, as you love yourself

2. Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you

3. As you treat the least among you, so you treat me also

4. The rich man should sell whatever he has and give it to the poor

5. The love of money, is the root of all evil

6. Avoid all forms of greed

Buffett wants a small increase in the tax rate paid by those who make more than $1 million each year. The Republicans say no!

Where are the Christians? Where are the Christian churches? Are conservatives really Christians? Can any Christian support lower taxes on the obscenely wealthy and cutting medical programs for poor children? All the Republicans did just this. Are they really Christians?

No they are not Christians. See my hub on how much we are actually paying as a nation in taxes.

Then check out the debate that ensued.

TT,

I agree. But it seems the vast majority of Republicans simply don't give a damn about anyone but themselves.

@jc

I actually won't go that far. I'll say Republican POLITICIANS only care about their money people. I believe that most Republican middle class people have been tricked into believing that the GOP actually cares about the middle class' best interests.
