The Immoral war on GAZA
Gaza is a small place surrounded by the sea and Israel and a small border with Egypt. Egypt is being paid $1 billion in US taxpayer money to help Israel blockage Gaza. Egypt doesn’t want the poor, poverty stricken people living in Gaza to cross into their country and join the millions now living in poverty under the President for life Mubarak.
You and I and our child now give Israel over $6 billion each year out of our pockets. Why? There is little or no poverty in Israel and most live a middle class lifestyle.
The reasons given for the blockade of Gaza are to reduce the rocket attacks on Israel. But the price is too high on innocent civilians in the Gaza, including over 750,000 children.
What has the blockage done to this area?
Israel bombed factories, businesses and roads
97% of factories have remained closed
42.3% unemployment in the third quarter of 2009 (compared to 32.3% unemployment in June 2007)
80% of the population is dependent on rationed food aid that is stopped by the Israelis whenever they feel like it and for any reason
Just 25% of the demand for goods was met (2,500 trucks per month versus 10,400) in 2009
Fewer than 40 kinds of items permitted (versus some 4,000 prior to the closure)
Ban on import of all raw materials for industry and on export
50% of all children are suffering from malnutrition
40,000 people have no electricity
10,000 have no running water
Power outages eight hours a day, four days a week for most areas
87 million liters of untreated or partially treated sewage dumped into the sea daily for lack of electricity and spare parts
Israel allow NO relief agencies to operate inside Gaza
Israel has completely closed the border, refusing to allow people to leave Gaza
No news agencies are allowed inside Gaza. A few brave reporters do get in and what they report is heartbreaking.
– “ They are sleeping 25 to a classroom. The desks have been piled high in a corner. They share four mattresses and on this day a cabbage for their evening meal.
But it is no laughing matter. The psychological strain is huge and showing on the faces of the people we meet.
“The jets fly over the house continually. No-one sleeps. No-one knows where the next bomb will fall. There is not a moment's peace. Conversation is constantly interrupted by the roar of the Israeli jets overhead.
We have seen their "surgical" air strikes. There is no doubt the Israelis have tried hard to hit their targets accurately. The police station opposite the UN warehouse is now just a crater.”
Make no mistake about it; the US fully supports this war on innocent civilians inside Gaza.
No one likes Hamas, and the 1,500,000 people of Gaza must all suffer and die until the Hamas government is removed according to the Israelis government.
By any reasoned measure the price of this action by Israel with American support has been too high.
“Overall the Palestinian death toll has reached at least 783, according to medical officials in Gaza. UN officials now say more than a third, or 257, are children. They also estimate 1080 children have been wounded.
The Israeli death toll stands at 13, three of whom were civilians killed by militant rocket fire into Israel.
The cost in lives
At least 783 Palestinians killed.
(257 children killed, 1080 wounded.)
13 Israelis killed.
The attacks from both the Israelis and Hamas fighters has continued in defiance of a United Nations Security Council Resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire. The Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert today rejected the resolution branding it unworkable.”
I am a supporter of Israel and its right to exist and live in peace. Israel has the right to self-defense, but they don’t have the right to kill innocent civilians and to punish children for being in a place ruled by Hamas.
The US has always covered for everything Israel does no matter who is hurt. We must continue to support Israel and to insure their right to exist, but America must demand they stop their immoral actions in Gaza.

Your reaction to the Israeli actions in Gaza is understandable and wrong. Just because Israel has done some bad things doesn’t make the entire country evil.
We need to get to a place where the Israelis and the Palestinians can find peace. It will not happen as long as Israel makes war on civilians in Gaza and elsewhere.
The US should apply some pressure for a less aggressive Israeli policy against civilians and stop giving Israel $6 billion each year.
We should also stop giving Egypt over $1 billion each year.
I understand why your comments are not emotional.you just deal with facts.but these facts needs such reactions.
I agree that some people living in Israel are opposing that policy.but how many.
I just met yesterday 2 of them "world is small" on the net.they memories what they are told and don't want to listen to anything.
They have made their decision once they decided to go to Israel.
Why do you think they are going there?
The world is not like before,Jews are living prosperity in Europe and no one treats them badly.
They go to israel to support others there to tell the world we are here more than Palestinian
While palestinian can't chose where to live.
They are kicked everywhere they go.
Even visas are something impossible.
How many families are separated.
Just yesterday I heard a story about a palestinian family.
In 1948 they ran while all the bombs were around.
The father carried 2 kids and put them in safe place away from the bombs.
And ran back for his 2 month daughter.
The road ws closed he couldn't go back for her and the bombs almost reached the other 2.
They ran away passed the Borders to Jordan.
A german lady was there in the near by church helping the families.
She took the child inside the church and told the people that this is the girl of the named family.
The news reached her uncles and new she's in safe hands.
Few years later her uncle came back she didn't want to leave.
She said I love Palestine
Their family have no house to go back.
She lived in the church.
When she grow up the son of the germsn lady converted to Islam and married
Her.every year they visit their daughter but now they can't go to see her nor she can go out.
This isn't as tragic as other untold stories.
I don't think there are people in modern world suffered for so long as they did and still.
And it gets worse . The only difference now, the people started to see and hear not like before.

Whomever were to say anything negative about the plaestinian people obviously have not seen the reality of what they are going through. These stupid imbosals that post pictures of palestinians eating living the dream is a bunch of bullshit, they are suffering each day with no intentions from any government to attempt to help them. they are left with only helping themselves. Isrealis are a bunch of pieces of shit that deserved Hitler kicking their asses. Furthermore, i hope they get what they deserve, and once that day comes we will see who is in charge and what the palestinain people do to those dirtbags
