The Old Testament is Anti-Christian

As a Christian I made a decision not read the Old Testament because it is full of evil and it contradicts the teachings and instruction of Jesus Christ.

Many ministers and pastors preach from this evil text and thereby lead many astray.  I have attended many churches that focus mostly on the evil messages that are in every way Anti-Christian.  The Old Testament is the book of an evil God who doesn’t resemble the God of Jesus.

The examples are everywhere in this Anti-Christian text.  A few are below.

Leviticus 24:13-16 

13 “And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

14 “Take outside the camp him who has cursed; then let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone (KILL) him.

 15 “Then you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.

16 And whoever blasphemes the name of the LORD shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall certainly stone him, the stranger as well as him who is born in the land. When he blasphemes the name of the LORD, he shall be put to death.”

The God of Jesus Christ would not order anyone killed for blasphemy.  The God of Moses is not the God of Jesus Christ.  Jesus demands all Christians - “Thou shall not kill.”  “Love your neighbor as you love yourself” and “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Deuteronomy 20:12-13 

12 “Now if the city will not make peace with you, but war against you, then you shall besiege it.

13 And when the LORD your God delivers it into your hands, you shall strike (KILL) every male in it with the edge of the sword.”

He doesn’t say those who are warriors, or those who refuse to surrender, but all males, small children too.  This is not the God of Jesus Christ, who says, “Love your enemies and do good to those who hate you.”  This is an evil God.  This is a God of death, not life.

Deuteronomy 21:18-21 (The Rebellious Son)

   
18 “If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and who, when they have chastened him, will not heed them,

 

19 then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city, to the gate of his city.

 

20 And they shall say to the elders of his city, ‘This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious; he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.’

 

21 Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones; so you shall put away the evil from among you, and all Israel shall hear and fear.”

 

Would the God of Jesus Christ order a parent to kill their child because he was rebellious?  No! 

 

Many a good Christian has been driven out of the Church by the ignorant and the angry who love these terrible stories in the Old Testament.  Churches that teach this evil are not following the instructions of Jesus Christ.

 

There are many false prophets and one way to find them is if they persist in using the Old Testament.  We are called Christians because we say we believe on the message of Jesus Christ and the Old Testament in Anti-Christian.

 

My advice is to stay out of this evil text and read only the “New Test of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”  That way is the path to righteousness and eternal life.  The Old Testament leads to damnation.
